Regardless of why Scott acted that way (if he did), that shows good stage presence and I'm sure that was proven by the crowd's response.  I am not disregarding your opinion that he was on drugs, etc., but some people, like Henry Rollins for example, can have amazing stage presence and go wild, without drugs.  I myself do not partake of any illegal drugs, including marijuana, and I can be just as outrageous and confident as anyone drunk or stoned.  Just offering some perspective on the situation.
